Welcome to Khrist Raja High School, Bettiah, Bihar.

Khrist Raja High School (K. R.), Bettiah, is one of the educational institutions besides K. R. Evening School and St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School that operates in the K. R. Campus under K. R. E. A. (Khrist Raja Educational Association). This institution which completes 81 years of its glorious existence this year is one of the oldest schools in West Champaran, Bihar, India. It is a Catholic Christian Minority Institution run by the Jesuits, the members of an International Catholic Religious Order.

Important Announcement

1. Fr. Rector, the Secretary of KR Educational Association is transferred to St. Xavier's College, Digha Ghat, Patna was given a solemn farewell by the staff and the students along with Fr. Vinoy, SJ who took care of newly started KR Primary, English medium, for about 6 months. He also taught English in Class 10, 11 and 12.

2. Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee (25 years since he was ordained a priest) of Fr. Francis Palliparampil, SJ the Principal of KR. High School was celebrated with much pomp and gaiety. He was felicitated on the occasion and many attended the Holy Mass offered after the celebration and thanked God with him for the many graces God has showered on him.

3. Fr. Principal would be out for about three months in America to attend INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM OF JESUIT SECONDARY EDUCATION to be held in Boston college High School, Boston which will be attended by 350 Jesuit Principals and Educationist from 60 countries.After which he will visit his friends, relatives and siblings settled there. He hopes to meet a few old students of KR too who are there if he manages to contact them.

4. The renovated grotto of Our Lady built in her honor is a thing of beauty. May Our Loving Mother bless all of us and keep us in her loving protection.

5. For your information: Phase wise we are introuducing English as meduim of instruction at KR. +2 classes are already in English. Classes 1 to 3 is totally in English. In 4 and 5 Science and Maths are taught in English. Soon it will be introduced in other classes too.
